On October 18-19, 2022, a well-known orthopedic vertebrologist, deputy director for education and interaction with the regions, head of the clinic of spinal pathology and rare diseases of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “NMIC TO named after Academician G.A. Ilizarov” of the Ministry of Health of Russia Federation, DSc, chairman of AOSPINE RF Sergey Olegovich Ryabykh visited the Republican center of pediatric orthopedics of the ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the department of Traumatology-orthopedics, FS and Neurosurgery of the Tashkent Medical Academy. During his visit, Sergey Olegovich Ryabykh surveyed inpatients, consulted about 20 patients with severe orthopedic pathologies and also gave lectures on surgical correction of scoliosis and spinal deformities to students of the 401 group of the medical faculty.
It should be emphasized that Ryabykh S.O. has been providing active advisory assistance to patients with vertebrological and orthopedic pathology of our Republic for many years, regularly participates in master classes organized by the Department of Traumatology, orthopedics, FS and Neurosurgery of TMA, read lectures to students, residents, masters, young doctors.
During the conversation, DSc Ryabykh S.O., the director of the Republican Center of Pediatric Orthopedics DSc Tilyakov A.B. and the head of the department of Traumatology–orthopedics, MS and Neurosurgery of TMA DSc Khujanazarov I.E. planned further scientific and practical cooperation.
