On September 4-6, 2025, the 4th Congress of Neurosurgeons of Uzbekistan was organized at a high level in the city of Khiva. The 4th Congress occupied a historical place as the next stage in the development of neurosurgery in Central Asia, and it should be noted that it is the 4th in such format. It can be noted that scientific and practical lectures in all areas that took place in the city were interesting and useful in terms of their scientific innovations, practical significance, variety of innovations, and the breadth of the geography of the reporters. In particular, it can be said separately that the training and practical workshops on “Endovascular surgery and formation of vascular anastomoses”, “Radiosurgery”, “Open surgery of cerebral vessels”, which were conducted during the congress, were very useful for the formation of practical skills of a young neurosurgeon.
At the pediatric neurosurgery section the associate professor of our department, Akhmediev Tokhir Makhmudovich reached out active discussions and recognition being presented with his report. We wish him success and all the best in the future of scientific research.
