A famous orthopedist, head of the department of orthopedic surgery of Saint Louis University professor Djoldas Kuldzhanov has provided master-class

On April 21-23, 2022, Professor Djoldas Kuldzhanov visited the Republican specialized scientific and practical medical center of Traumatology and Orthopedics and Department of Traumatology-Orthopedics, Military field surgery and Neurosurgery of TMA – our countryman, a famous orthopedist, head of the department of orthopedic surgery of one of the leading clinics in the USA – Saint Louis University. He performed about 20 consultations of patients with several orthopedic pathologies and led 5 surgeries of endoprosthetics with several dysplastic coxarthrosis with high hip extension, with severe deformities of the knee joint, and also gave lectures on hip arthroplasty for high hip dislocations in adults.

It should be emphasized that the professor was one of the first to respond to the call of the President of our country, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, addressed to immigrants from Uzbekistan to contribute to the large-scale work on reforming the domestic health care system.

D.Kuljanov is a native of Karakalpakstan. A graduate of the Samarkand Medical Institute, for several years he worked as the head of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Tashkent Medical Academy. Now he has been working in the United States for more than 30 years. For many years he has been teaching doctors from the CIS countries at a university clinic, conducts master classes in the leading centers of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and other countries of the world. He was repeatedly recognized as “one of the best doctors in America”

During the conversation, Professor D. Kuldzhanov and the director of the Republican Scientific and practical medical center of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the MoH RUz, Professor M. Irismetov in contribution with head of the department of Traumatology-Orthopedics, Military field surgery and Neurosurgery of TMA DSc Khudjanazarov I.E. planned future cooperation.
